Ingredients and Substitutes
Pineapple (1) – This is the core of the recipe! It’s a must-have for this delicious dessert. Try to get it as fresh and ripe as possible.
Cinnamon (1 tsp) – Cinnamon helps bring out the pineapple’s natural sweetness.
Honey (1 tbsp) – Nothing wrong with an extra touch of sweetness! Natural sugars are perfect for this dessert.
How to Make Air Fryer Pineapple
Step 1. Start by chopping your pineapple into even pieces.
Step 2. Grab a large bowl. Toss your pineapple, cinnamon, and honey into the bowl. Stir gently until the pineapple is covered completely.
Step 3. Preheat your air fryer to 380F (190C). Pop your pineapple into the fryer basket. Make sure to sort it into a single layer for the best cook.
Step 4. Let your pineapple air fry for 14 minutes. Halfway through, take it out to shake the pineapple to get color on all the sides.
You’ll know your pineapple is ready once it’s brown on all sides, juicy, and deliciously soft. Once cooked, enjoy your warm pineapple on its own or with a scoop of ice cream!
As you can see, this dessert comes together in no time. That’s what makes it so good for casual weeknights or family time after dinner.
Enjoy this tropical delight whenever you like. Happy cooking!
