Cheesy Baked Italian Sausage

- 10 Italian sausages sliced
- ½ cup water
- 24 oz marinara sauce use low carb
- 1 ½ cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp dried basil
- Black pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 375F.
Heat up a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add in the sliced sausage and brown it. It will take 5-7 minutes.
Add in the water, lower the heat, cover the skillet with the lid and let it simmer for 8 minutes.
Take the skillet off the heat and cover the sausage with marinara sauce.
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. Then cover with all of the seasonings.
Bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes and then broil for 2 minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
